Arrive in Maun, the gateway to Botswana’s wilderness. You’ll be met by Sahara Safaris Botswana and transferred to your lodge. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon, followed by a safari briefing outlining the journey ahead.

Day 1
Maun → Okavango Delta (Overland Transfer)
Depart Maun in a 4×4 safari vehicle and travel overland into the Okavango Delta. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you journey from the outskirts of town into remote wetland wilderness. Upon arrival at camp, settle in and enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive or a guided mokoro excursion, exploring the Delta’s iconic waterways and floodplains.

Okavango Delta – Water Wilderness Safari
